There will be Major road works in Boston for the next 11 months I would advice anyone who is just passing through to not bother.

Meh? Where abouts in Boston? I have to travel though Boston to get to Skeg!

But I haven't seen any advance warning signs, so maybe its not on my route....

Preparations are under way for the start of 10 months of road works designed to improve traffic flow in Boston.

Signs have been put in place ready for the works, which start on Monday and are due to finish in March 2011.

The scheme will see several roads widened, including the A16 and A52, as well as improved roundabouts, crossings and cycle provision.

Motorists are being warned to expect delays.

The improvements form part of the Boston Transport Strategy

we could be in skeg this weekend, we have seen the signs the other week warning of possible delays, we will do our normal route and take it from there.

we giving it one this week,got funeral at 4 on fri so roll on next week, just hope all that boston traffic don't come over to my route lol
